DESCRIPTION:Witness the annual phenomenon of the fall chum salmon run at Bayshore Preserve! In past years, the peak salmon run has been the first half of November, so be sure to stop by for a visit. Volunteer salmon docents will be at the preserve November 5, 6, 11, 12, and 13 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm to answer your fish questions! Follow us on Facebook and Instagram for real-time updates.\nInterested in volunteering as an English or Spanish-speaking volunteer or have questions? Email Mary: mary@capitollandtrust.org.\nSpanish interpretation will be available Saturday, November 5 and Sunday, November 6 between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm.\nSee salmon in a whole new way with Puget Sound Estuarium’s underwater camera technology! We will use cameras set at multiple locations in the water to live-stream the salmon action to handheld tablets on the shore. Using wi-fi, visitors will be able to sync their phones to the camera to take real-time photos and videos in Johns Creek.
