Please plan for a turnaround time of least 3 weeks prior to your desired check-out date. The kits may be checked out for a period of 3 weeks. All kits are to be picked up and returned at our Puget Sound Estuarium location in downtown Olympia.
Terms & Conditions
The Puget Sound Estuarium recognizes that a user may reserve an Estuary Kit on behalf of another individual, organization or group. Therefore, it is the sole responsibility of the user to share these terms and conditions with all parties involved who utilize an Estuary Kit rental reservation (and any items and materials associated with it). Upon finalizing an Estuary Kit reservation, the user agrees they have read and agreed to the terms below.
Logistics
The Estuary Kits may be checked out for a period of 3 weeks. All kits are to be picked up and returned at our Puget Sound Estuarium location in downtown Olympia. Pick-ups and returns can be made by appointment. Materials should be neatly in their original containers: see the Inventory Form in the teacher manual for a complete list of materials.
Changes & Cancellations
If the user is unable to pick-up or return an Estuary Kit on the scheduled date, or needs to change or cancel a reservation, please call the Education Coordinator at 360.473.9633. Cancellations must be made a minimum of two weeks before the scheduled pick-up date.
Broken & Damaged Items
The user is fully responsible for the contents of the Estuary Kit(s) during the rental reservation period. The Puget Sound Estuarium reserves the right to charge a repair/replacement fee for lost or broken items. If damage is deemed beyond normal wear and tear, or more extensive repair is necessary, the Puget Sound Estuarium will provide an itemized invoice with payment due no later than 30 days. Payments can be made in person via credit card or online via PayPal. All payments should be made no later than 30 days after payment information has been entered. Balances not cleared within 30 days will be considered a non-payment. Unpaid balances may affect the user and associated organization’s ability to rent future Estuary Kits or book additional educational programs provided by the Puget Sound Estuarium.
