Admission to the Estuarium will be free all day! Come to the Estuarium to learn about the estuaries of the Puget Sound and celebrate this beautiful planet!
The Estuarium currently has exhibits on display about local bird populations, sea shells, plant species, and much more! This will be a great day to submit your drawings for our Endangered Species Art Contest that closes for submissions on April 24th. We hope to see you there!
The Puget Sound Estuarium will be accepting art submissions for an Endangered Species Art Contest! Washington is home to over 40 threatened or endangered plants and animals. Every year we bring awareness to these species and their ecological struggles on Endangered Species Day. We will be hosting our annual Endangered Species Art Contest to encourage action and awareness in our community.
We are accepting submissions at the Estuarium during open hours, 11am – 4pm on Saturdays and Sundays, and encourage everyone to look into local endangered species for their artistic inspiration. Entries from past years can be viewed on our Facebook page and previous years submissions are currently on display at the Estuarium.
All artwork will be displayed at the Estuarium from April through May, during which the public can submit their votes for the Estuarium’s grand prize and category winners! Artwork is due by April 24th. Artwork can be submitted digitally or physically at the Estuarium.
This is a free event that is open to the public. Masks are required, and the Estuarium’s current COVID-19 protocols will be in effect.
