Endangered Species Day Celebration: Free Admission Day
Admission to the Estuarium will be free all day! However, be sure to register beforehand to ensure admission.
The Puget Sound Estuarium is raising awareness about local PNW Endangered Species on May 20th from 11-4pm with free admission. Vote for your favorite entries from our Saving Endangered Species Art Contest, take home some native wildflower seed starts, and participate in our chalk art activity.
Washington is home to over 40 threatened or endangered plants and animals and this year marks the 50th anniversary of the Saving Endangered Species Act. Every year we bring awareness to these species and their ecological struggles on Endangered Species Day.
This is a free event that is open to the public. Masks are recommended, and the Estuarium’s current COVID-19 protocols will be in effect.
