Summer Shark Spree: Free Day

Admission to the Estuarium will be free all day! Come to the Estuarium to learn all about the sharks of Puget Sound from one of the Estuarium’s longest serving Beach Naturalists, Dr. Sandy Zeiner, Shellfish & Enforcement Policy Analyst at the NW Indian Fisheries Commission. The talk will run from 12:00 – 1:00 PM.

Stick around after to talk for a feeding of the animals in our tanks! Estuarium lead interpreters will show you how we feed our animals, and answer all your questions about our estuary creatures and the tanks they live in. Animal live feedings will take place from 3:00 – 4:00 PM

About Summer Shark Spree

The Estuarium’s Summer Shark Spree is a rotating exhibit featuring the sharks of Puget Sound! Every weekend in August, real shark tails and jaws from the WA Department of Fish & Wildlife will be on display at the Estuarium.

Join us throughout the month for JAWSOME shark education and activities including trivia games, arts & crafts, talks by local shark experts and shark dissections!
