The Estuarium Remains Open!
Despite ongoing construction the Estuarium will be open for our normal visiting hours on the weekends. Visit us on Saturdays and Sundays from 11am to 4pm. The Franklin St. and State Ave. intersection will be open to pedestrian traffic.
Street parking is free in Downtown Olympia on the weekends! Visitors may park on surrounding streets and walk to the Estuarium facility.

Information about construction:
Weather permitting, a temporary full closure at State Avenue and Franklin Street may begin as soon as Monday, April 18. This closure will be in place 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and may last up to four weeks. Full intersection closures allow crews to safely complete work in the street and help mitigate longer term traffic and parking impacts. Please refer to the graphic above for detour route information.
