Join us at the Estuarium on May 21st at 2 pm for an enlightening talk from guest speaker Faye Peebles from Wolf Haven International about Northwest Wolf Species.
Located in Tenino, Washington, Wolf Haven is an internally recognized sanctuary that rescues and provides homes for over 300 animals. Their mission is to conserve and protect wolves in their natural habitat, and beyond rescuing animals, they offer educational programs and lead efforts to restore and protect wild wolves in their habitat. They are accredited through the American Sanctuary Association and the Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries.
Faye will share fascinating facts and information about the wolves of the Northwest, including the complex survival story of the gray wolf and the efforts that have been made to protect wolf species. This is a great opportunity to gain insight into the world of wolves and learn about the importance of conservation efforts. Educational activities for children will be available following the talk. Don’t miss this chance to hear from an expert on this iconic species!
The cost to attend is the price of admission to the Estuarium and space is on a first come first served basis. RSVP via Facebook HERE.
