Shark Spree: Shark Talk & Live Dissection!

Come on down to the Estuarium on July 15th at 2:00pm for a talk and live shark dissection with Sandy Zeiner! Sandy Zeiner is a Shellfish and Enforcement Policy Analyst at Northwest Indian Fisheries Commission. She will share fascinating info from ancient sharks to the present day sharks that roam Puget Sound. Learn about where they live, what they eat, and how their unique bodies function. Sandy will finish up by dissecting a real shark from Puget Sound!

About Summer Shark Spree

The Estuarium’s Summer Shark Spree is a rotating exhibit featuring the sharks of Puget Sound! Every weekend in July and August, real shark tails and jaws from the WA Department of Fish & Wildlife will be on display at the Estuarium.

Join us throughout the month for JAWSOME shark education and activities, arts & crafts, talks by local shark experts and shark dissections!
