Seas to Trees: A Celebration of Birds

Seas to Trees: A Celebration of Birds

Get closer to birds, familiar and strange, than ever before!

11 am – 4 pm, Saturday & Sunday
February – May

After this exhibit, you’ll never see birds the same way.

Explore real bird specimens, and see what gives them the edge to thrive in the waters of Puget Sound. Or, discover the challenges they face for yourself with “Beak Battle” – do you have what it takes to conquer the shore?

It’s not just kingfishers and herons that are specially adapted to tough habitats; birds are overcoming obstacles right under our noses. Get to know your nesting neighbors with us, and bring home a few treats to help them raise healthy chicks this spring.

Free days for this exhibit are the 3rd Sunday each month during our normal hours, 11 am – 4 pm.
