Endangered Species Day Celebration Free Admission Day

Admission to the Estuarium will be free all day! Come to the Estuarium to learn about the estuaries of the Puget Sound and WA State Endangered Species!

On Saturday, May 21st, come on down to the Estuarium to play games and learn about vulnerable species in WA state. The Estuarium currently has on display the submissions we received for our Saving Endangered Species Contest! You will be able to admire the art, learn about local threatened species, and create some art yourself! We will have button making supplies and a chalk drawing contest. We hope to see you there! 

Washington is home to over 40 threatened or endangered plants and animals. Every year we bring awareness to these species and their ecological struggles on Endangered Species Day. The winner of this year’s Saving Endangered Species Art Contest will be announce on May 20th, Endangered Species Day. Before May 20th you can cast your vote for your favorite artworks on our Facebook page. Click the button below to view the submissions.

This is a free event that is open to the public. Masks are required, and the Estuarium’s current COVID-19 protocols will be in effect.
