New Volunteer Orientation
Sign up for our new volunteer orientation to learn the ins and out of Estuarium programs that need your support! During volunteer orientation you’ll get to meet Estuarium staff, learn about upcoming volunteer opportunities and receive a tour of our facility.
The Estuarium’s Education Team is gearing up for a busy school year filled with field trips, and we need your support! If you have weekday availability and a passion for Puget Sound, please come volunteer with us during our K-12 education programs.
Both experienced marine enthusiasts and beginner estuary explorers are welcome! Orientation is open to all new volunteers, and no marine science or naturalist background is required to sign up! We encourage newcomers to get started on your estuary exploration journey with us, and experienced naturalists are invited to share their love of the South Sound through our volunteer program.

Attendees who are interested in volunteering during our upcoming Orca exhibit are invited to stick around after new volunteer orientation for a special Orca exhibit training from 7:00 – 8:00 PM.
If you know someone who is interested in volunteering, they can also come to the meeting to learn more and see if it is a good fit for them. Contact our Program and Volunteer Coordinator, Clarissa, for more information.
